The Mountain View Restaurant at Cheyenne Mountain Resort does not disappoint. True to its name, the AAA Four Diamond property serves a Colorado fusion meal while overlooking Cheyenne Mountain through glass-paned windows. It also includes an amazing terrace and an open-air kitchen. It’s a popular Sunday brunch location.

The Overlook Cafe

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Overlook Café is the newest addition to America’s only mountain zoo. The outdoor patio café is the first to serve beer and wine. From atop the attraction, it offers a stunning panoramic view of Colorado Springs. Open from April to October, with weekends open weather permitting during the winter.

The Tree of Life

It is a location where both the taste buds and the sight will be satisfied.

The Woods at the Source Hotel

The Source, a market hall and restaurant collective in Denver that has been operating for a while, has lately opened a hotel and a rooftop bar/restaurant called The Woods. The lakefront tiki bar at Pug Ryan’s Brewery, which boasts a view of Lake Dillon, is open in the summer and will give you the impression that you are both at the beach and in the mountains. The Island Grill in Frisco offers a similar beach ambiance as Pug Ryan’s tiki bar across from Lake Dillon. It is a summertime destination and is situated on the “Frisco Bay marina” just off the town’s Main Street. You can see the lake and the mountains from the rooftop and lower-level outdoor seating areas. An enjoyable way to round off a day of sailing or trekking is with island delicacies like fish tacos and a pina colada.
